A couple of days ago, I was in Venice Beach. There, you can’t look anywhere without finding something cool to photograph.
The skate park was pretty crowded, but at some point most people got out of my frame except for that rad skateboarding girl.
I don’t know who she is, but I’m assuming that she is a regular, so if you live around Venice and eventually go to the park and see her, feel free to let her know she is on my blog now, looking cool… ;o)

I’m heading out to Los Angeles tomorrow, time to trade the ski pants and jacket for a light shirt and shorts. I shot this photo yesterday with my trusty iPhone on Cypress Mountain and if all goes well, I should have some beach photos pretty soon. Fun week…
If anyone is in L.A and wanna say “hi”, give me a shout.

This week-end, some of my friends and I decided to go to Whistler for a quick ski/snowboard trip.
This is what was waiting for us.
Here is the thing about Whistler, everywhere you look, you have this kind of view. This is just madness. So many mountains!

Today I went skiing in Cypress. When it is cloudy in Vancouver, you can be sure that you are gonna be above the clouds when you are on the hills.
It is quite a cool feeling when all you see around you is mountain tops and clouds…
This is one of the many reason why I enjoy living in Vancouver.

If you know me, you know how much I like good food.
I was in Victoria for the past few days and got the chance to discover “Nourish Café Bistrot”.
It’s one of those perfect little places where you have amazing food, great friends and a fantastic scenery. A must! If you are around Vancouver Island, be sure to drop by and say “hi” to them.
And try the BBQ Oatmeal Pancakes (“Sleeping Beauty”). It’s exactly what you think it is, pancakes made on the barbecue.
Oh, and I forgot… their coffee is perfect too!!!
Dear God I love food so much…

I spent the last couple of days on location for a client in Deroche, BC. (more about that very soon.)
And yesterday, before heading back to Vancouver I stopped for a few minutes to smell the roses…
Again, it was a nice “I could get used to this…” kind of moment.

One more shoot, one more flight. I could really get used to that…

I’ve been in Edmonton for the past few days and one of my assignments was to photograph the first night of “The Works” festival.
This night was sponsored by “Martyshuk Housing” and organized by “Progress Unlimited” (with whom I work very closely), and included a few hip-hop concerts.
Don’t you hate it when a young hipsters gets in front of you and blocks your view while throwing punches in the mosh pit?!
