Just spent a quick couple of days in Edmonton again, for a commercial video shoot this time.

One of my client’s requests was for me to shoot a timelapse of the city. Among other things of course.

Here is the kind of view I decided to go for. For one of them anyway. ;o)

I shot a lot more, but you’ll have to wait for the video to be out to see them.

Here is the cool thing about glass buildings like the ones Downtown Edmonton. You can shoot the sunset even if you are facing east, you get that amazing light reflecting in the buildings with the night sky in the background. Gotta love those shoots.

More about this very soon.

Sometimes, when clients hire me, this happens…

This is one of the many reasons why I love my job and my clients.

I shot this on Harrison Lake a few weeks ago.

More about this shoot soon…

One of the things I love about working in Edmonton is the view I have from my bed every morning.

I actually took this photo while still lying down.

I recently discovered that horses love Canon cameras.

I tried with a Nikon, they didn’t seem to care as much. Go figure…

This week-end was Canada’s Thanksgiving.

And for the occasion, M and I went to a corn maze…

I didn’t know there were such things around Vancouver so when M asked me if I wanted to check it out I said: “….Mmmmh, sure, why not.”

And I gotta give it to her, it is actually quite fun to be lost in a massive corn field.

At least it makes for fun pictures.

These are 2 photos I shot yesterday during a head shot session. They don’t really qualify as the “by the book” actors head shots as they are a little bit too artsy I think, but I really like them so I figured I would share them with you all.

What do you think?
