A couple of days ago, I was in Venice Beach. There, you can’t look anywhere without finding something cool to photograph.
The skate park was pretty crowded, but at some point most people got out of my frame except for that rad skateboarding girl.
I don’t know who she is, but I’m assuming that she is a regular, so if you live around Venice and eventually go to the park and see her, feel free to let her know she is on my blog now, looking cool… ;o)

Last Saturday, Leigh stopped by the studio for a quick photo shoot.
She was actually quite sick that day and almost didn’t make it, but I am glad she did because we got some pretty cool photos.

Tomorrow afternoon I will be flying to Edmonton for a super quick trip, but guess who’s coming back to the Vancouver studio first thing tomorrow morning for a brand new video project…

Jess is an incredible make-up artist in Vancouver who also masters the art of modeling and doing incredible fitness competitions. That’s when she’s not traveling, writing, or making art and calligraphy.

Well this is it Folks, I have officially moved in to a brand spanking new studio in Vancouver.
This project has been on the back burner for quite a while now, and it is finally time to crank things up a notch. In my previous little studio I could shoot one or 2 models at the time, now I can shoot about 20 models + a big truck (not that this kind of setup would ever happen, but if it does, I am ready for it…)
This new venture would not have been possible without my good friend Dina Goldstein, who put all this together. I couldn’t be happier and honored to be able to share the studio with her. You might know her from her internationally famous “Fallen Princesses” photo series. She also recently finished the spectacular “In the doll house” project.
Dina was the first photographer to get back to me when I reached out to people 4 years ago, fresh off the boat from France. And my Canadian career would definitely not have started that fast if it hadn’t been for her.
My first official shoot in the space is this week-end, I’m pretty excited to see what I can do with it.
