Last week I got to spend a day at the Warehouse Studio and hung out with the amazing Danielle Marie who was recording her latest album.

Lots of photos (and videos….;o) ) were shot at this incredible studio right in the middle of Gastown in Vancouver.

It was my 4th time shooting at this incredible recording studio, own by Bryan Adams, and it’s such a tremendous pleasure to come back every time.

More about Danielle Marie here.

And more about the Warehouse Studio here.

Here is a little teaser from yesterday’s shoot with Shannyn Visceral.

For the first part of the shoot, Shannyn was rocking her very cool Spirit Hood. How comfortable does this thing look?!

I should probably buy one for myself for Christmas, right?  ;o)

More to come very soon.

Time for me to fly to Edmonton once again!

This time, I will only be there for a couple of days, but I’ll be covering a few events.

One of which is the 17th Pecha Kucha Night, presented by Progress Unlimited, MADE and Edmonton’s NextGen.

In the words of the good people from MADE:

On October 5th, MADE, Progress Unlimited, and Edmonton’s NextGen present one of the largest and richest citizen-driven conversations about urban cores in Canada through Designing Downtown - Pecha Kucha Night 17.

An anticipated crowd of 1,700 Edmontonians will take in PKN 17 at the Winspear Centre and thousands of other Canadians will experience the nationally live-streamed event in partner cities across the country. Presenters from different regions and backgrounds will, in the pecha kucha style, have 6 minutes and 40 seconds to challenge us to think in new ways about how we design and develop our city cores. Our goal is bring cities together to enrich and advance the conversations, ideas, and actions that shape our downtowns as places for everyone.”

So if you are anywhere close to Edmonton this week-end, be sure not to miss PKN 17. You can grab your tickets on the Designing Downtown website or just by clicking on the photo above.

See you there!!!

P.S: You’ll never guess who shot that photo…;o)
